Hi folks – we have a super app update that will (depending on your excitability threshold) make you say OMG!

How do you help kids learn without boring them in the process? Give them an educational game, filled with challenges that reward cooperation as well as independent thought, that will make learning fun!

Once the children have the idea of the game, and they know how it works, it is possible to teach some aspects of the science curriculum with reference to it (in particular Habitats and Environments), as well as using it as a basis for creative English writing.

Now there are intelligent wonders popping up left right and centre, some taking old toy concepts and giving them a technological spin, others creating a new type of toy entirely.

A few weeks back, George made a trip up to Sheffield for the Children’s Media Conference, where he was on a panel on creating toys and games that spanned across the digital and the physical worlds.

Because Beasts of Balance encourages curiosity and thinking outside of the box (literally), we hoped players would find different ways to play it. We were heavily rewarded on that front, with players quickly surpassing any high scores we managed, using stacking combinations we’d never dreamed of.

We had so many great entries to our haiku competition that we thought we would compile them all here for others to read and enjoy!
